Fortuna Sittard player Mohamed Ihattaren has stated that he is only open to a transfer to PSV, Feyenoord, or Ajax. The attacking midfielder, who is allowed to leave Limburg for an agreed fee, is clear when it comes to NEC, the third-placed team from last season. Ihattaren hopes to take a step up in his career this summer. His agent has already been in contact with various clubs, and the 24-year-old playmaker considers a transfer within the Eredivisie 'ideal'.
Ihattaren has previously played for PSV and Ajax and expresses a desire to return to these clubs. "Of course, I would want that. Who would say no to PSV? Or Ajax or Feyenoord?" he says. However, he has not yet received offers from these traditional top clubs. "No," he adds, indicating that he currently has no concrete options.
A move to Feyenoord appeals to him, especially since they are participating in the Champions League. "I haven't had Feyenoord yet. I would like that. Of course, that's Champions League," says Ihattaren. He positions himself as an attractive option for clubs, with a buyout clause of three million euros at Fortuna Sittard.
Last season, Ihattaren played 28 Eredivisie matches for Fortuna Sittard, scoring six goals and providing ten assists. He still has a contract until mid-2027, which means Fortuna Sittard is in a strong negotiating position. The coming weeks will be crucial for Ihattaren and his future in the Eredivisie.
