Fortuna Sittard is supporting the Nierstichting and Stichting Hoogvliegers during the charity match of AZ-Alkmaar. The Limburgse club has given up its places in the starting lineup to children with a disease. The children will walk onto the field with the players of both teams and experience the match from the family section. They will also be visible during the flag parade and at the center circle. To give more visibility to Stichting Hoogvliegers, Shirt Partner Leaseweb has made the place of their logo on the back of the match shirt available. The organization is working hard to give children with a disease a day where everything is possible. Children connected to the organization are also visible during the ceremony before the match, wearing the logo of Kidnie, the initiative of the Nierstichting that focuses on children with a kidney disease.
